All loads must be tarped and secured.
Loads entering the landfill must be tarped and secured to prevent materials from falling/flying out of vehicle. Untarped loads may be subject to additional fee.
Salt River Landfill is OPEN during scheduled business hours; however, the green waste area is currently closed. The landfill will continue to accept green waste; however, all green waste loads will be directed to the solid waste area until further notice.
Gilbert Road access to the the Salt River Landfill is currently closed by ADOT. Please use Country Club Road. Follow Country Club north until it runs into Highway 87 at McDowell Road. Then, Take Highway 87 (Beeline Highway) north for approximately 4 miles to the first light at Gilbert Road. Make a Left into the landfill.

The Salt River Landfill, an Enterprise of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, is committed to providing state-of-the-art solid waste disposal and recycling facilities, which are fiscally sound and operated in accordance with all rules and regulations of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, in order to protect the environment from degradation, promote good public health, and conserve natural resources.
